Our On Location and In-Plant Cleaning Teams

profile-12-jayson

Jayson

Jayson has been in the cleaning industry for 10 years and with D. A. Burns for five. He’s an all-around technician proficient in carpet, upholstery and stone care.

Jayson graduated from WSU (GO Cougs!) with a degree in zoology and a dream of being a veterinarian. He detoured into the Army, being assigned to the 18th Airborne Corps and seeing active duty in Iraq during Desert Shield. He obviously likes animals, and has a boxer and horses. He likes hiking (with the dog), dressage (with the horse) and target shooting.

profile-19-ken

Ken

In his 30 years in the industry, Ken has done just about everything from flood restoration to carpet installation. In the 21 years he’s been with D. A. Burns he’s performed commercial carpet cleaning, residential carpet cleaning, cleaned upholstered furniture (fabric and leather) and managed our in-plant rug cleaning department. Today Ken specializes in on-location carpet and upholstery care.

He’s trained as a boxer and competed in triathlons, but these days he prefers hiking with his dogs. And, unlike our other musician co-workers, Ken will admit to being a really bad guitarist.

profile-15-ron

Ron G.

Ron has been with D. A. Burns since 2004 and started in the industry 10 years earlier after leaving the medical supply business. His expertise is in carpet and upholstery care, with an emphasis on being meticulous.

Ron is an accomplished musician and can be seen most weekends playing guitar at venues around the Northwest. Ron’s birthday is the same as both Elvis Presley and David Bowie, although his music lies somewhere in between.

profile-18-joseph-jd-

Joseph (JD)

Joseph comes to D. A. Burns with experience in carpet and hard-surface cleaning and understands and likes the difference in how we go about our business.

When asked to provide a few details about himself, JD turned in a tightly worded two page document, including drawings with circles and arrows and extra stuff in the margins. We’ll shorten that to “He’s a very cool guy” (if saying cool is still cool). JD’s enthusiasm for life lifts everyone around him.

profile-11-del

Del

Del has been with D. A. Burns for over 20 years. His specialties are installed carpet and furniture care, and he knows rugs, having spent some time managing our in-plant rug cleaning operation. Del is creative in his operational efficiencies being careful not to diminish his high-quality workmanship.

Del grew up on the Big Island (Hawaii) but loves it here as “Hawaii is too hot!” He’s been to Las Vegas for bowling tourneys and back again for darts tourneys, and today is more of a Northwest outdoor sportsman.
