D. A. Burns of the 21^st century is more technically advanced than the D. A. Burns of 1935.  However, our commitment to superior service and consistency of results has remained constant.  This may account for our loyal client base who happily pass us along to their family and friends.  We’re also the “go to” service provider for Greater Seattle’s floorcovering professionals, trusted by retailers and wholesalers, interior designers and architects.

Our service professionals strive to keep our promise, with no hidden surprises.  We provide free, written service proposals and our friendly, experienced technicians employ cleaning procedures that are effective and environmentally responsible – all while handling your furnishings with care.  In fact, D. With two locations – Seattle and Bellevue – we offer both in-home and in-plant cleaning capabilities.  Our large, unique Ballard cleaning plant specializes in expert Oriental and specialty rug cleaning, fabric and leather upholstery cleaning, and meticulous rug repair and reweaving.  We provide rug and upholstery pick-up and delivery services, or you can save with our “cash and carry” discount program by bringing them to us at our Seattle or Bellevue locations.

For the care and cleaning of your installed carpet, stone, tile, grout and upholstery, D. A. Burns is equipped to bring the cleaning plant to you with our fleet of mobile, truck-mounted cleaning plants.  You’ll like the results, and our friendly, experienced cleaning specialists.

To offer greater convenience to our carpet services clients, both our Seattle and Bellevue locations are equipped to offer custom carpet workroom services.  Serving you and the carpet and interior design communities, D. A. Burns has built another dimension to our business through our custom carpet services: carpet binding, serging, fringing, accent edge treatments, Oriental rug repair and the fabrication of custom designed carpet.  Whatever the carpet – woven, tufted or hand-made – D. A. Burns can craft carpet design ideas into reality.

Accent edge treatments, carved insets, pattern matching, size alterations and intricate hand-sewing and reweaving are only a few of the talents offered that add value to the finished carpet package.   Whether it be sewing six Missoni’s into one, down-sizing a V’Soske to fit a new room, or adding a leather or fabric border, design professionals have been trusting their materials (and clients) to D.
